All-new RTZ Wedges are made with Z-Alloy, a completely new steel formula that enables a zero-compromise design approach for incredible feel, better durability, and more consistency for our best performing tour Wedges yet.

For classic groove length and head shape, select either FULL, MID, or LOW sole grinds. For Full-Face grooves and a higher toe profile, select the new ADAPT sole grind —the only full face groove option for this generation—crafted on tour for open-faced finesse shots.

RTZ Wedges are made from a groundbreaking steel formula we spent years developing. The goal? Zero design restrictions. And after years of mixing, melting, and refining, we created a new steel, Z-Alloy, that beats our old metals in every measurable parameter we have.

* Based on Cleveland Golf R&D measurement of material hardness between RTX 6 ZipCore Wedge and RTZ Wedge using Vickers hardness test.

Z-Alloy Step 1

There wasn't a material on Earth that gave us the improvements we sought for RTZ, so we made our own, Z-Alloy.

Z-Alloy Step 2

Z-Alloy is softer and less dense than 8620 steel, and one of the few metals made exclusively for the benefit of golf clubs.

Z-Alloy Step 3

This future-focused approach gives RTZ Wedges superior feel, better forgiveness, and remarkable consistency.

TECHNOLOGY

Z-Alloy

Z-ALLOY

Z-Alloy is a brand-new steel with better feel. It's softer and less dense than 8620 steel, and remarkably durable. It gives RTZ Wedges superior feel, better forgiveness, and more consistency. On RTZ Tour Rack Wedges, Z-Alloy's rust-resistant properties ensure longer-lasting, like-new performance.

HydraZip

HYDRAZIP

HydraZip is a unique system of face blasts and laser-milled lines formulated to maximize spin performance under wet conditions. This technology is dynamically configured by loft groupings, which helps balance spin across lofts, while maximizing spin in adverse conditions.

ZipCore

ZIPCORE

This low-density core technology replaces heavier material in the heel and hosel area with a lightweight, low-density, vibration-dampening material. This proprietary core allows us to shift the Center of Gravity closer to where you strike the ball, while simultaneously adding MOI.

UltiZip

ULTIZIP

UltiZip's sharper grooves cut through grass and debris at contact, while deeper grooves help make space for grass, sand, dirt, or water to clear the impact zone, giving RTZ Wedges stronger, more consistent spin from the fairway, rough, or bunker.

ADAPT with Full-Face

ADAPT WITH FULL-FACE

More than just a sole grind, ADAPT features its own face shape and leading edge, all designed for players who like to get creative around the green. All ADAPT grind Wedges also exclusively feature RTZ's Full-Face groove option, along with an extended toe shape.

GRIND SPECIFIC LEADING EDGES

Our FULL sole has the roundest leading edge, to prevent chunking on steeper swings. The MID sole offers a slightly less round edge for a variety of shots. LOW soles receive the sharpest leading edges, designed for swings with a shallower angle of attack. And the new ADAPT grind uses a similar roundness as our MID sole for maximum versatility.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I become a golf professional?

To become a club professional or teaching professional it will cost some money, take some time and require you to apply yourself, just like any other career path

What do you need to start playing golf?

To get started as a beginner golfer, you’ll need golf clubs, balls, and tees, as well as a bag to store the equipment in. You’ll also need golf shoes that won’t damage the course, appropriate golf clothing depending on the weather, a towel for cleaning your clubs, and a divot repair tool.

What should you wear when golfing?

While there isn't a strict dress code at all golf courses, it's generally recommended to wear collared shirts, slacks or shorts, and golf-specific shoes or athletic shoes. Breathable, moisture-wicking clothing is recommended to help keep you cool and comfortable while out on the course. A hat is also wise to wear to help keep UV rays off your skin.

How do you aim a golf ball?

Aiming a golf ball involves aligning yourself and the clubface in relation to your intended target. The proper stance and grip are instrumental in correctly aiming the golf ball. Practice aligning yourself and the clubface during your practice sessions to develop a reliable sense of aim.
