SK Fiber has developed a combination wedge and putter graphite shaft as an alternative or replacement to steel shafts.  Why would you want a graphite shaft for a wedge and putter? The stiffness, stability, and heavier weight match what you would expect with a steel shaft "wedge" flex or a straight, stepless putter shaft. The benefit to the heavier weight is thicker shaft walls, which are a natural vibration dampener and provide excellent feel and performance. The satin finishes will be a welcome addition to any parallel tip 0.370” wedge, or any putter that accepts a straight shaft which fits into a parallel tip 0.370” hosel or socket.

Can the SK Fiber Pro 115 Graphite Wedge/Putter shaft be sanded down to fit a taper tip wedge or putter? Yes, to learn how, go to this link.

Graphite Wedge Shaft

Golf wedge shafts have traditionally been heavy, stiff, and made of steel. Graphite shafts can be made to unlimited specifications and this shaft is just as heavy and stiff as the most common "wedge" flex shaft. Plus, the satin finish will be a welcome addition to any parallel tip 0.370” wedge.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I become a golf professional?

To become a club professional or teaching professional it will cost some money, take some time and require you to apply yourself, just like any other career path

What do you need to start playing golf?

To get started as a beginner golfer, you’ll need golf clubs, balls, and tees, as well as a bag to store the equipment in. You’ll also need golf shoes that won’t damage the course, appropriate golf clothing depending on the weather, a towel for cleaning your clubs, and a divot repair tool.

What should you wear when golfing?

While there isn't a strict dress code at all golf courses, it's generally recommended to wear collared shirts, slacks or shorts, and golf-specific shoes or athletic shoes. Breathable, moisture-wicking clothing is recommended to help keep you cool and comfortable while out on the course. A hat is also wise to wear to help keep UV rays off your skin.

How do you aim a golf ball?

Aiming a golf ball involves aligning yourself and the clubface in relation to your intended target. The proper stance and grip are instrumental in correctly aiming the golf ball. Practice aligning yourself and the clubface during your practice sessions to develop a reliable sense of aim.
