The Founders Club Bomb Irons are designed to give golfers the ability to hit all the irons in their bag with increased accuracy, confidence, and distance. The Bomb irons match the hybrid 3 and 4 with a 5-PW set of irons that feature an under-cut cavity iron with a high tech badge. As a limited time bonus the set also includes a blade style steel shafted sand wedge for increased feel. The hybrids and irons are finished in a brilliant black PVD finish. The hybrids come standard with graphite shafts and the irons 5-PW are available in graphite shafts in Regular,Stiff, or Senior Flex. The 3 and 4 hybrid come with matching head covers.
The Bomb 3 and 4 hybrid are equally versatile from the fairway or the rough. The optimized launch angle of the new Bomb hybrid is higher than that of a traditional long iron, but with the added distance that can only be achieved with a high MOI hybrid. The overall performance characteristics of the Bomb hybrids are such that most players will be able to eliminate the use of traditional hard-to-hit long irons completely. This is the perfect utility club for any player looking to consistently produce a higher, more controlled trajectory and land the ball softly on the green from long iron to Fairway wood range. Other benefits of the Bomb Hybrids include:
- Low center of gravity to provide an optimum ball flight
- Higher MOI (vs. conventional long irons) provides greater distance and more forgiveness
- Shafts 1” longer than our standard irons with similar loft resulting in more club head speed and longer distance off the tee, off the fairway and out of the rough.
- Cambered, trailing edge sole provides enhanced playability from tough lies and divots.
- Founders Club Proprietary Hybrid Utility graphite shaft standard with 4° of Torque
- Founders Club Bomb low torque grip standard
The Bomb 5-PW is designed to work in progression with the matching 3 and 4 hybrid irons. The irons undercut cavity provides a thick sole and top line ensuring the ultimate in playability. The Bomb Irons combines the technologies of hybrids, forgiving undercut cavity irons, and Founders Club Hybrid Utility shaft to deliver fantastic feel, incredible forgiveness, and an improved center of gravity location. These irons make it extraordinarily easy to launch the ball on a high, long, straight flight.
- Very forgiving oversized head with progressive offset and wide sole provides the optimum blend of high launch, maximum control and increased distance
- Cast from 431 stainless with a thin and hard face for maximum COR
- Perimeter weighting to maximize forgiveness and distance while also increasing the stability and feel of the club
- Cavity back irons 5-PW feature either light weight Steel shafts
- Featured with Founders Club Bomb grips that provide a high texture, firm feel with optimum torque resistance
- Blade Style 56 Degree Sand Wedge
