FEEL. CONTROL. WORKABILITY
A players Iron with compact shaping and tour-preferred looks, made with all-new i-FORGED technology for the most supreme feeling Srixon Iron ever created. A single-piece forging delivers a sleek, highly-workable package.

  • This generation of PureFrame uses a larger forged ridge in the body of the Iron just behind the sweet spot. We've expanded this ridge for even better feel, stability, and control.
  • Prized by tour pros, Tour V.T. Sole's unique combination of leading-edge bounce plus trailing-edge relief means that, no matter how steep your downswing, you'll glide through turf to compress the ball with full power.
  • A thin topline, narrow sole, short blade, and minimal offset the preferred look for tour-level and low-handicap golfers. These compact players Irons feature a muscle-back cavity for maximum workability and a razor-sharp look.

i-FORGED

We've spent decades in pursuit of the best-feeling Irons possible. i-FORGED, or Impact Forged, is our latest step in that journey. It's an array of our greatest innovations in Iron metallurgy to date, cementing our worldwide leadership as forging technologists.

Ideal Steel

IDEAL STEEL

What's the softest steel we've ever used to make an Iron? S15C, which makes ZXi7 7% softer. ZXi5 and ZXiU face plates are also 14% softer. And ZXi4 now features the softer SUS17-47 for its body material.

Condensed Forging

CONDENSED FORGING*

Using softer steels enhances ZXi feel. But strength matters, too. To deliver both, we use Condensed Forging. Here's how it works:

The hydraulic dies which forge red-hot billets into ZXi Irons imprint an array of raised features onto each rough Iron shape. A second forge condenses those protrusions back into the clubhead, placing strength in those precise locations without sacrificing overall feel.

* Condensed Forging featured on ZXi7, ZXi5, and ZXiU Irons.

Heat Softening

HEAT SOFTENING

Because Condensed Forging adds localized strength right where we need it, we have the freedom to re-optimize the temperature of our heat-treating ovens and produce our softest treatments yet.

TECHNOLOGY

i-FORGED

i-FORGED

Proprietary Condensed Forging inserts added strength in the hosel area, which allows for the use of new, softer S15C steel in the single-piece Iron body for unprecedented feel and control. Added tungsten weighting perfects CG placement for ideal performance.

PureFrame

PUREFRAME

This generation of PureFrame uses a larger forged ridge in the body of the Iron just behind the sweet spot. We've expanded this ridge for even better feel, stability, and control.

Tour V.T. Sole

TOUR V.T. SOLE

Prized by tour pros, Tour V.T. Sole's unique combination of leading-edge bounce plus trailing-edge relief means that, no matter how steep your downswing, you'll glide through turf to compress the ball with full power.

Progressive Grooves

PROGRESSIVE GROOVES

The 3i-7i feature wider grooves, while the 8i-AW have deeper, closer-set grooves, to ensure consistent spin across the set. Laser milling between each groove, on every loft, adds bite on every strike.

Players Iron Shape

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I become a golf professional?

To become a club professional or teaching professional it will cost some money, take some time and require you to apply yourself, just like any other career path

What do you need to start playing golf?

To get started as a beginner golfer, you’ll need golf clubs, balls, and tees, as well as a bag to store the equipment in. You’ll also need golf shoes that won’t damage the course, appropriate golf clothing depending on the weather, a towel for cleaning your clubs, and a divot repair tool.

What should you wear when golfing?

While there isn't a strict dress code at all golf courses, it's generally recommended to wear collared shirts, slacks or shorts, and golf-specific shoes or athletic shoes. Breathable, moisture-wicking clothing is recommended to help keep you cool and comfortable while out on the course. A hat is also wise to wear to help keep UV rays off your skin.

How do you aim a golf ball?

Aiming a golf ball involves aligning yourself and the clubface in relation to your intended target. The proper stance and grip are instrumental in correctly aiming the golf ball. Practice aligning yourself and the clubface during your practice sessions to develop a reliable sense of aim.
